Personal:

Married with 2 kids. My personal story is that at the time I started running, I was 5'11", 255lbs. When my daughter was born I realized how important it was to me to not only be there for all of her significant milestones and life events, but how important it was to truly BE THERE. By that I mean that I needed to be the BEST version of myself physically, so that I could be a great example to her, and could be a healthy participant in all of life's magical events. When I first started, I could finish a mile (barely) on a good day in about 11-12 minutes. Now, I am running 40 miles a week as I prepare for my first full marathon and currently weigh 170lbs.

Hill Run - Total Time - 1:15:06 (9:23 PACE). I was really dreading this workout, but it really was not as bad as I thought it was going to be. My first two miles were the slowest, and my last two the fastest. It really built some confidence, which is good going into the tougher training sessions to come. Legs finally feel fully recovered after the 10k on Saturday, which is FANTASTIC.
